(The big and little reversed)The batteries in my camera do not last very long and I should have put fresh ones in before I went over for the play-date last night (Monday, Sep 26, 2005). Some of the pics I downloaded from my camera were completely black and required my real editing to see what the photo was about. They will not get any prizes, but here are some that I took at Bruce and Melody's last night:

Lady, the cocker spaniel and Yoshi the rat terrier are like constant motion when they are together. Jeb and Bruce were able to watch the Broncos beat Kansas City ... so they had their own little "play-date", too. Melody and Bruce fixed a wonderful ham dinner, so a good time was had by all last night.

Yoshi's likes encountering Spike the hedgehog
    Spike will reach into the bowl and take a piece of dog food and eat that piece outside of the bowl. When Yoshi shows up when Spike is eating, Spike initially rolls up into a "spikey little ball" and then realizes it's "just Yoshi". They are now little buddies.

August 26th, 2005 Spike, my hedgehog Spike is thoroughly enjoying Yoshi’s food and water dish. Spike had been eating cat food and hedgehog food, but now seems to have taken a liking to Yoshi’s puppy food. Yoshi just stands and watches as Spike chows out at her food dishes. Yoshi has learned that Spike is “spikey” and does not make a buddy to play with!

August 16th, 2005  Yoshi, my Rat Terrier Puppy This Yoshi is my new little puppy. She has a half-brother Bosco that is Paul and Corisa’s newest little one. Bosco is brown and white whereas Yoshi is black and white. I FINALLY have a little guy that interacts with me. My others are virtually “phantom” pets wherein they are nocturnal (and lazy) and sleep most of the time.
